Welcome to Rock Steady Boxing DC (RSB DC)! We are excited to the first affiliate gym in Washington, DC, offering adapted training routines to help people with Parkinson’s. Specifically designed to help combat the symptoms of Parkinson’s, our unique program helps patients experience less muscle stiffness and pain while generally improving their balance and capacity for motion.

Rock Steady Boxing is a non-contact boxing program designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s disease. It aims to improve quality of life through exercises that enhance balance, strength, agility, and overall fitness. Rock Steady Boxing DC is the first affiliate gym in the District!

Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) is a first-of-its-kind, Indianapolis-based nonprofitgym founded in 2006 to provide aneffective form of physical exercise topeople who are living with Parkinson’s. Though it may seem surprising, this non-contact boxing inspired fitness routine is dramatically improving the ability of people with Parkinson’s to live independent lives.

Anyone diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease can participate in Rock Steady Boxing. Our program is tailored to accommodate individuals at various stages of the disease, ensuring a safe and effective workout.

Classes involve a variety of exercises adapted from boxing drills, including footwork, coordination, strength training, and balance exercises. Each session is designed to challenge participants while providing a supportive and encouraging environment.

We are located in the heart of 14th / U Street NW inside NUBOXX Fitness facility. Our address is 1449 U ST NW.

The scientific evidence recommends 150 minutes per week of moderate-to high intensity exercise for people with Parkinson’s. Regular attendance helps participants maintain and improve their physical and cognitive health.

Rock Steady Boxing is specifically designed for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Our program combines non-contact boxing with functional exercises to target the unique needs of people with PD, helping them fight back against symptoms in a supportive community setting.
